11 Reading, PA Ugly Mudder 7M Trail Run 02/27/11: A Pretzel City Sports event. OMG!!! WHERE the heck did 817 registrants come from??? Did everyone's Cable TV connection fail ON THE SAME DAY? The 2011 was the 2nd largest event ever held by PCS, our thanks to all of you and the wonderful mid-50's weather for that! Runners from 9 states and DC enjoyed a beautiful day in the woods. The one downside was that some person, unknown to us, brought a chain cutter out into the woods and removed 2 of our turns and the flags in between; which did impact some of the top runners. This happened despite the fact that at least 2 groups ran the course as close as 1 hr to the start and the course was fine at that time. Our apologies that we have such morons in Berks Co. Fortunately, the tampering was found early enough that 95% of the runners were not impacted and the beer was just as cold when they finished as it always is.
